 A New Project Being Launched This Week...

  When we have had some free time, we've been working on a secret project set to launch in the middle of this week. It will basically give us a way to effectively advertise CollegeQuickJobs.com while creating an entirely new revenue stream. More details to follow.

 
 A Talk at the University of Virginia

  I was honored to make a 30 minute presentation at an Entrepreneurship class at the University of Virginia. Just over a year ago, my co-founder (Kelly Lewis) and I were sitting in those seats. It was a great opportunity to share the lessons Kelly and I learned as young entrepreneurs and encourage the students to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions.

  Were you in Park Slope, Brooklyn on Sunday, March 30th? If you were, you probably saw the CollegeQuickJobs.com Robot! You really can't look at it and not at least crack a smile. Well, there was that bulldog that wanted to tear the Robot to shreds... He was barking and growling as his owner dragged him away. But I'm sure you'll be glad to know that the Robot came out unscathed. Since we got such a great response from the Robot, we're using him again.     - It's now easy to buy and view student contact information- just choose the students you like and click "Add to Cart!"

  • Easy-to-use job search filters
    - Students will be able to filter their job search results based on many dimensions including date, type and distance

  • Expanded student profiles
    - Student profiles now have the option of uploading a photo

  • Job posting premium options
    - Increase the visibility of your job - bolding and highlighting options make your job stand out in the search results

  • Expansion
    - The site is expanding to New York City (followed by other major cities)

  • An affiliate program
    - Students will have the opportunity to earn commissions by referring employers
